The SCA Brewing Foundations course helps you gain the practical skills you need for brewing coffee. This hands on class delves into the variety of brewing methods and brewing variables that affect quality.
You’ll learn:
- Grind profiles
- Brewing Methods
- Measuring coffee strength
- Charting a coffee’s extraction
Session 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Foundations Level (One-Day Course) The Foundations level will introduce you to a variety of brewing method through hands-on activities and classroom materials. You’ll receive both theoretical and practical skills.
Exams: Course does not include exam fees. Students who want to take the SCA exam will make payment through the SCA’s learner portal.
